Use METER to:
  • Record time spent in applications, documents, tasks
  • Manage projects and billing over networked Macs
  • Share software costs among users, Macs, or projects
  • Export or print formatted reports

Access METER anytime from the system menubar. On-line help in the METER control panel.  


About the demo

You can try out METER as a time-limited demo. It will collect 10 days of data and print 7 pages of records. TEXT output is disabled in the demo. To start a new demo period, just remove ‘METER Data’ from your Preferences folder and restart. To unlock METER for unlimited use:

  Single-user version:          US$30, plus $15 per additional Mac.
  Network version:                US$50, plus $25 per additional Mac.
  Latest version on diskette:   US$5

Pay by cheque, money order, cash, or VISA. A copy-and-paste invoice is available in "About METER..." under the METER menu. We need your return address or fax number, and the demo ID and version date from each Mac to be licensed. 

METER has not been tested extensively on older (pre-1990) Macs or on large, distributed networks. But I have spent a lot of time to ensure that this thing runs clean, so if you find a problem, let me know in as much detail as possible.

  Just drag it onto your System Folder (or straight
to your Control Panels folder) and restart.

  Shut down or restart METER anytime by clicking on the METER icon at the upper left corner of the control panel window. If you just want to deactivate METER for awhile, without removing it from active memory, choose ‘METER off’ from the METER menu.
